Old Conveniences

Almost cryptic. Aged farm equipment sometimes randomly litters, or rather, lingers along the hills of aged farm country.

Im intrigued by the trees and other over-growth around these old industrial conveniences. They kind of protect them over time.

I am thinking about how long they have set there....since being retired (often stopped cold in their working paths).

These thoughts, out here when I run across such a treasure, are much more important than the things I have done before this autumn morning when I discovered it.

Weathered.

"Leaving the city was a good thing", it somehow tells me.

The wind off of the bluff chaps my face.
